The Boxwood PINEBALL kit has been used in camps and classrooms with children ages 7-14. Students who’ve used them have really gotten into the game design and theming, and some were using drills, saws and hammers for the first time. Teacher Jenny Kapke at Rocky Mountain School of Expeditionary Learning (RMSEL) said, “it worked really well in the classroom. The kids loved it and they were excited to work on it every day. We used the kits to teach simple machines, art and storytelling.”
Now Boxwood has packaged the kits up with self-guided workbooks for home use. It’s a great collaborative project for young woodworkers.
